CAR SHIPPING FAQ

Most frequent car shipping questions

Your total price is calculated by how hard it is to haul your vehicle(s). That includes several factors such as: the distance of origin and destination, the vehicle year, make and model. If it is not operable, it will be more expensive. The same with older vehicles. However, while long distance travels will cost more, it will cost less per mile.

Door-to-Door is when an auto transport company picks up and delivers a vehicle as close to a predefined location as possible. We do provide Door-to-Door services.

No, all the dates are windows and projections. As there could be unexpected factors (traffic, weather, road battling). As such, keep that information in mind. We’ll call/text you ahead of time if there’s any delays or earlier updates.

You can only put a few personal belongings in your car. Such as 1-2 bags in the trunk. The reason why is that our company hauls vehicles, not household goods. When a vehicle is stuffed with personal items, then the carrier (us) will get fined and it will most likely be passed to you. In addition, the personal items will make the vehicle go over the weight limit hindering the delivery time.

Yes it is! We have cargo insurance to make sure that you don’t have to worry. In addition, we make sure that any other carriers we put you on is covered by a required amount and up to date. If it is damaged, it is important to look at the bill of lading (BOL). Any pre-existing damage is denoted there. If the damage was noted on the BOL, then that will hinder your damage claim. Look over your vehicle when you receive it. The BOL is the document that releases the carrier of liability once signed at delivery. If the damage was the result of the driver, then call us so we can provide our insurance or the carrier’s insurance.

No you do not necessary have to be there. It can be you, a friend, a family member, a dealer, etc. Someone simply needs to be present on both pick up and drop off to sign the Bill of Lading. Either our dispatch team or driver will contact you. However, we don’t recommend leaving the car unattended because the Bill of Lading won’t be signed.
